There was a few times I visited during what I thought was the restaurant's hours but, discovered they were closed. ”
“ I am a terrible person. It's taken me WAY too long to visit Lowrider, and I blame no one but myself. Everyone is unbelievably friendly, and as a first-timer, I immediately felt at ease. And the food? It is outrageously perfect. The menu covers a lot of ground, and the variety of options for something as simple as a taco begs you to come back again and again. Of course, the delicious flavors and fresh ingredients don't hurt. While parking isn't super apparent, there is almost always a spot or two right in front, and there is also easy street parking and parking lots within a block. That is to say, don't let its slightly odd and easy-to-miss location scare you off. Add it to your to-do list for lunch options if you work downtown, and if aren't often in the area, I 100% suggest going out of your way to check Lowrider out. And if you ever go to the Downtown Library, you HAVE to add a stop to LC. Simple, authentic, delicious, and super friendly. Lowrider is a perfect downtown cafe for anyone who likes good food and wants to keep their money local. ”

I started with the taco, and it was, by far, the best vegan taco I have ever had. Then I started on the vegan chorizo burrito and I found out what heaven tastes like. Amazing!
